Can we count on you to support Natick seniors by helping the Friends contribute to programs run by Natick’s Council on Aging?

The Council on Aging (COA) receives its funds from the Town of Natick and is prohibited from direct fundraising. That’s where the Friends of Natick Senior Center come in—to raise funds that fall outside of the COA’s yearly budget. These funds are used to support special events and programs such as the COA’s Annual Volunteer Luncheon and Holiday Dinner and program scholarships and transportation assistance.

Natick seniors are consumers of local services and products. With your generous contribution to the Friends of Natick Senior Center, your business will receive a decal or certificate for your window display. Annually, businesses will be recognized on our website and in our newsletter.

Natick has a significant number of residents aged 60 and older—and that number is growing. Currently there are 7,465 Natick residents aged 60 or over, comprising 21% of Natick’s total population (Source: 2018 Massachusetts Healthy Community Profile). Many are regular visitors to and users of the Natick Community-Senior Center and the varied, dynamic programs of the Natick Council on Aging. Pre-Covid, over 300 people visited the Center each day to participate in health and wellness programs, access services such as 50+ Job Seekers and caregiver support groups and to receive information about and referrals to human services agencies.
